I agree with a lot of your opinions on Medium. The content here is why I continue to write here.

But I disagree about the community. I don’t see Medium as having a great connection with their writers or the writers having that great of connections with each other. When I think of good content creator communities I think of YouTube.

As for a membership and the Partnership Program, I think it can make a world of difference from the direction Medium was/could take. My reservations lie in the fact that how fast things change in Medium’s structure and how little we (as writers) are in the loop. Look at the Creative Exchange for a prime example. It popped up, I joined, heard nothing, and now it is gone. I hope this new program does not follow that.
