The lack of video editing knowledge, software (besides iMovie), and drive to attain either knowledge or software has stopped me from buying a GoPro. I really would like one, but like you pointed out I do NOT want to edit and store the footage. I have enough of that with my photography. So instead I shoot videos on my iPhone and edit in iMovie on my phone if I edit at all.
