We’re all turning into assholes.

Why is it that the majority of people online feel that they need to be a critic?

Can’t we all just consume content that other people create without complaining about a companies bad re-designed logo or a miss-spelled word in the headline to a news article?

You only see that logo for a brief second as you sit on the toilet, spending the next 10 minutes looking at food and cat pictures and commenting with some emoji. And that miss-spelled word in the news headline, well you don’t even bother reading the linked article before you type out your smart ass comment.

What are we really pissed off about? The fact that their idea is better than our own? Who gives a shit? I mean really. In the grand scheme of things one miss-spelled headline about the local dog park does nothing to help draw attention to the overcrowded prisons in our country. And that logo, it wouldn’t matter if it was created by the best design team in NYC, it is different and the (now) majority of us hate different.

Stop being an asshole and set your focus on issues that matter. Issues that will change the world around us. Because if you aren’t aware, shit is hitting the fan.

Rant over. Now I will go back to making photographs. I know they are shit. But if you’re the asshole that will spend the time to tell me so, you probably haven’t read this far.
